Donations to the Genesis HealthCare Foundation are used in various ways to help provide the highest quality healthcare to the community. Learn about recent projects that the foundation has helped fund, thanks in large part to the generosity of donors. The Foundation accepts a variety of contributions including cash gifts, online credit card donation, and deferred estate gifts.
There are other ways to support Genesis HealthCare System, such as annuities and including Genesis in a will, as well as volunteering. Our volunteers help with many activities, and we'll match your interests and talents with the healthcare needs of our community.
Donating appreciated stock you have owned for over a year is one of the most tax-advantaged ways to make charitable gifts. With planning, you can reduce your capital gains tax while supporting Genesis HealthCare Foundation.
Retirement assets, including an employee retirement plan, IRA or tax-sheltered annuity, are an excellent gift. These assets can shield your heirs from taxes.

Warm Hand Off Program
Do you want to help those struggling with addictions? Genesis has specially trained volunteers on-call to help support patients and/or family members dealing with addiction in the Emergency Department (ED) at Genesis Hospital and the Genesis Perry County Medical Center ED.
The program is called the Warm Hand Off, and it pairs patients with volunteers who understand addiction. While in the ED, volunteers will listen, provide treatment information and answer questions regarding recovery. Find out how you can help.
